I’m Whole Health Dana and I’m passionate about cooking, creating, reading, reducing my environmental toxins, preventing disease and saving the world. It is my theory that if I avoid the toxins that I can control, my immune system will be strong enough to deal with the toxins that I cannot control. Every day I look for a new way to do it better and when I fail…every day is my opportunity to start over.
I used to be blissfully ignorant and I loved it. Now I can’t unknow what I know and I no longer want to. In September of 2013, my husband of 7 months and 11 days died from Esophageal Cancer. That was the day that my world stopped and forever changed. I can never ever be the person I was before that day. I will forever live a new normal.
Whole Health Dana is about making healthy choices. Choices that promote health and prevent disease. I’ve devoted countless days, weeks & months into learning about cancer. I wish I knew then, what I know now.
This blog is dedicated to the memory of my beloved husband. My loss has driven me to passionately seek healthy, less toxic choices that I hope will benefit my friends and family. May they remain healthy so that his death will not have been in vain.
Join me on this journey. Together we can improve our Whole Health and save the world…one tube of deodorant at a time!
